The Bobcats have selected Defenseman Dion Phaneuf in the 2nd round, when reached for comment Phaneuf said "I look to make Pierre MacGuire blow his wad live on TV next year and in the future as a member of the Bobcats!"

In related news The Bobcats have named Phaneuf the Captain of their team, and expect Phaneuf to be a member of their franchise for the length of his career.

The Arizona Bobcats are thrilled to announce the first member of our Hockey Club, Goaltender Miikka Kiprusoff. Kiprusoff was aquired via a mid-draft trade that sent the #17, the #57 and the #304 picks to the Quebec Nordiques in exchange for the #11 pick, and their 24th Round pick.

Miikka Kiprusoff was reached briefly and had this to say "I very happy to be part of dis team" and returned to his fishing boat.

The Arizona Bobcats Hockey Club is pleased to announce that we have the 17th pick in the upcoming IGNHL inaugural draft. General Manager CGYFlamesFan was not pleased with the location stating "That is basically the single worst draft position there is IMO... I'd rather have 20th overall, or the middle, anywhere between there just sucks!" However the fans of the Hockey Club have the highest level of faith in their General Manager.
